Participation of Brazilian Scholars in RGGU Humanitarian Readings – 2026

The International Russian-Brazilian Center, together with the «Art-Design» Educational Center under the direction of G.I. Volkova, submitted creative works by students of Galina Ivanovna Kobzeva to the NICHO audiovisual creativity festival in Brazil.

Video on the Constitution of Brazil, prepared by the students of the Federal University Santa Catarina
Specifically for the International Online Roundtable "Professional Rights and Economic Freedoms in the Constitutional Law of BRICS Countries," held at RSUH on December 13, Brazilian students from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Florianópolis) created a video about the right to work in the 1988 Brazilian Constitution.

Online Bridge with the Russian Geographical Society in Brazil
On October 30, the International Russian-Brazilian Center of RSUH, together with the American Studies Discussion Club of the Faculty of International Relations of the Institute of International Relations and Political Science at RSUH, led by Victoria Ivanovna Zhuravleva, Head of the American Studies Department, Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences, held an online bridge with representatives of the RGS in Russia and Brazil. The discussion focused on "The Role of the Russian Geographical Society in Brazil, the Salvador Sea Museum, and the Aleixo Belov Foundation in the Russian-Brazilian Dialogue of Cultures."

RSUH's Distinguished Representation at the Seventh International Forum «Russia and Ibero-America»
From October 1st to 3rd, the Seventh International Forum «Russia and Ibero-America in a Turbulent World: From Common Challenges to Joint Solutions» was held in St. Petersburg. Organized by the Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences and St. Petersburg State University, the forum is the most representative event in Russia dedicated to the socio-political and economic processes of Latin America, its history, and culture. Its participation, attended by prominent politicians, scholars, and journalists from Ibero-American countries and Russia, consistently attracts media attention.

Lecture at the Open University PROFNIT (Brazil)
On September 20, Associate Professor Lyudmila Ivanovna Baturina, Director of the International Russian-Brazilian Center, was invited by the professor Fred Leite Campos of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) to give an open lecture to master students. These lectures were organized annually for the open university PROFNIT – open professional development courses from leading universities with the participation of professors, experts, and businessmen from both Brazil and internationally.
