Creative works by RSUH students were enthusiastically received at the NICHO festival in Brazil.
The International Russian-Brazilian Center, together with the «Art-Design» Educational Center under the direction of G.I. Volkova, submitted creative works by students of Galina Ivanovna Kobzeva to the NICHO audiovisual creativity festival in Brazil.
NICHO 54, a Brazilian creative workshop advocating for the full access of Black people in Brazil to creativity, to work with dignity, and to participate in the country's cultural and economic development, holds an annual Audiovisual Creativity Festival.
After viewing the works presented at the festival, RSUH students enthusiastically responded to the idea of submitting their paintings. More than 15 works on the theme of Black people in Brazil were submitted to the festival. In response, Fernanda Lomba, NICHO Co-Founder and Executive Director, sent a letter of gratitude:

The high demand for closing the festival and organizational activities prevented us from responding promptly. We are now doing so with great pleasure.

Our team was completely delighted by the impact the Nicho festival had on the class, as well as the production of the paintings on us. A very faithful translation of the expected objective of cultural exchange.
