Video on the Constitution of Brazil, prepared by the students of the Federal University Santa Catarina

Specifically for the International Online Roundtable "Professional Rights and Economic Freedoms in the Constitutional Law of BRICS Countries," held at RSUH on December 13, Brazilian students from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Florianópolis) created a video about the right to work in the 1988 Brazilian Constitution.

The roundtable was organized by the Russian State University for the Humanities in collaboration with Kutafin Moscow State University and the Knowledge Steez educational platform (India). It brought together lawyers and young researchers from Russia, India, Brazil, Cambodia, and Nigeria, whose experience and research focused on the study of constitutional law and judicial practice.

The video was produced by four talented UFSC Master's students from the Faculty of International Relations: Joao Pedro Furtunato, Vitor Moretto Koch, Jhennify Keila Soares, and Leon German Rojas. The course they're taking is called "PRORUS" and is dedicated to the Russian studies. It's led by Professor Fred Leite Campos, an active partner of the International Russian-Brazilian center RSUH.

In their video, the students discussed the evolution of Brazilian constitutions, from the early stages of the independent republic's foundation to modern norms and talked specially about the right to work. They also provided a comparative analysis of the historical basis of the Russian and Brazilian constitutions.

In addition to interesting information, you'll see plenty of greenery backgrounds, smell a hot Brazilian day, and even smile at a monkey, a small character in the film. We invite you to watch he video here
