The event took place 28 October 2017, organized by the Congress of the Polish People in Russia, Presidential International Relations Council, Polish Union and the Embassy of Poland.
The goal was popularizing the Polish language in Russia. The opening speech was delivered by Dr. Shkarenkov.
The event was assisted in large part by the Department of Slavic and Central European Studies and personally by Dr. Romanova, Chair of the Congress of the Polish People in Russia. Dr. Skorvid, Chair of the Department, delivered a lecture “Polish “pockets” in Siberia”.
