RSUH students conducted interviews in Hindi for the India bureau of Russia Today
On September 3, 2026, RSUH students from the Institute of Linguistics (1st and 4th years) and the Institute of Oriental Cultures and Antiquity (3rd year) were interviewed by correspondents from the *Hindi Russia Today* program. The conversation was conducted entirely in Hindi.
Future linguists and Oriental studies specialists answered questions about the characteristics of Indian literature, the nuances of translation, and the reasons behind their choice of profession.
First-year students, just beginning to immerse themselves in the language, recited the famous slogan of friendship between nations—"Hindi-Rusi bhai-bhai" ("Indians and Russians are brothers")—and happily spoke with journalists on camera. Upper-level students shared personal impressions from their travels in India and recited poems by classic authors in the original language.
The interview was recorded as part of a major Hindi RT advertising campaign timed to coincide with the BRICS summit. The broadcaster’s project runs under the slogan "The world looks different from here" (*फ़र्क नज़रिए का*).
