International Online Poetry Festival «International Mother Language Day (UNESCO)» was jointly organized with various Russian and Indian universities:

More than 60 students from six universities in Russia and India enthusiastically recited poems in their native languages: Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Vietnamese, Belarusian, Thai, French, Indonesian, Spanish, Lingala (spoken in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo), Bhojpuri (Eastern Indo-Aryan), Malayalam, and Dutch.

Professor Kandarpa Das, VC of the Girijananda Chowdhury University delivered the welcoming address. He said this is his sixth time speaking at the RSUH event this year and he is delighted that the number of languages ​​represented is increasing each year.

This year, a new Indian university – Banasthali Vidyapith (Rajasthan) joined the Mother Language Day celebrations. Fifteen students from the Faculty of Humanities recited poetry in Hindi, Bhojpuri, Malayalam, and English:
