The topic "The cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and BRICS association as a model of a multipolar world" was discussed during the student research seminar at the Russian State University for the Humanities (RUSH).
Professor Alexander Stolyarov discussed how the EAEU is seamlessly integrating into the multipolar economic system being formed by BRICS. This interaction demonstrates annual growth in trade and transportation volumes. Given the prospects for the introduction of multimodal corridors in Eurasia and the North–South corridor, the common trade, economic, transport, and logistics space of the EAEU and BRICS will be free from sanctions pressure and the negative influence of the Western monetary and financial system.
Lyubov Likhacheva, a fourth-year student, conducted about the problems of interaction between the EAEU, BRICS and SCO. She presented a presentation on the challenges of interaction between the EAEU, BRICS, and the SCO, including diverging goals and scopes. The EAEU is an integration association whose goal is economic integration; the SCO is an organization focused on economic cooperation, regional security and stabilization, cultural cooperation, and the fight against crime; and BRICS is a cooperation format for developing countries. The student also mentioned the harmonization of legislation among EAEU member states.

The seminar is held monthly and aims to develop professional competencies among students studying Asian studies.
