On October 31, 2025,
Dr. Manish Ranjan, a member of the Department of International Cooperation at Banasthali University (Rajasthan, India) visited Russian State University for the Humanities and had a meting with Prof. Vera Ivanovna Zabotkina, Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.
The discussion topics were covered a wide range of issues. Key areas of cooperation included:
- Establishing partnerships between universities;
- Organizing a student exchange program through the Banasthali University scholarship to introduce students to the Indian languages, culture, and traditions of Rajasthan;
- Promoting Russian culture, language, and literature among Banasthali University faculty and students;
- Planning internships for Russian language teachers at the Russian State University for the Humanities, lasting from six to one year, with the opportunity to conduct joint research in the Russian language, including salary, housing, and meals.
The meeting resulted in a decision to draft a Cooperation Agreement between RSUH and Banasthali University. The document provides for joint research and educational projects of mutual scientific and academic interest to both universities.
The meeting attended Professor Alexander Stolyarov, Director of the International Center for South Asian studies and Indira Gazieva, Hindi teacher.
