The relevance of the program, its advantages in relation to similar programs at other universities.

The program competes with the university programs of Russian language and with teacher training programs of Russian and literature. The most attention is paid to the study of the Russian language in the way it is linked with Russian literature, business, media and Internet culture, for which the classic courses of Russian and foreign literature are supplemented by unique classes on various aspects of text analysis, style and culture of modern Russian communication.

A number of subjects are dedicated to teaching Russian as a foreign language and to issues of intercultural interaction. All this creates vast opportunities for socialization and professional self-realization of the graduate in comparison with the traditional models of training in similar majors.
