The TASS press center summed up the results of the largest educational expedition “From Teacher to Scholar. The Civic Roads" and talked about the main events dedicated to the Year of the Teacher and Mentor, which took place on the basis of the All-Russian competition "My Country - My Russia"
One of the key areas of the 20th competition was the expedition “From Teacher to Scholar. The Civic Roads".
The expedition was supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Dr. Gureeva, Deputy Director of the Department of Information Policy and Integrated Security of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, said: “This year, the role of the teacher has acquired special significance and value. The All-Russian educational expedition became an important project that provided an opportunity for teachers to share their ideas throughout the country”.
The first routes of the educational expedition started in September 2023. At the moment, research groups of young scholars have already visited four federal districts: Northwestern, Ural, Volga and Central.
Mr. Dmitry Turlakov, Head of the Executive Directorate of the All-Russian competition “My Country - My Russia”. spoke about the interaction of the competition with teachers and the implementation of the initiatives of the project graduates.
The result of the educational journey will be the publication of the “Living Pedagogical Encyclopedia,” which will include 300 pedagogical practices collected during the expedition.
One of the main goals of the expedition is to unite and form an interregional community of proactive teachers. In order to unite the community and exchange experience, six Interregional meetings were organized in different federal districts. The first Interregional meeting was held at the Ushinsky St. Petersburg Academy of Graduate Pedagogical Education.
In total, 287 teachers from different regions of Russia will present their practices.
