RSUH took part in the work of the intergovernmental commission on issues of multilateral interaction between Russia and Iran

On February 28, the 17th meeting of the Permanent Intergovernmental Russian-Iranian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held in Tehran. The Russian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mogilevsky.

Konstantin Mogilevsky, during a working trip to Tehran, met with the Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Zamanian. The meeting was attended by representatives of the executive bodies of several Russian universities. The parties discussed the main direction of interaction in the field of higher education, scientific, technological and humanitarian cooperation, as well as new formats of cooperation.

Konstantin Mogilevsky and Hassan Zamanian discussed the progress of work on the draft intergovernmental agreement on the recognition of education, qualifications and academic degrees, including in medical specialties.

RSUH signed agreements with two universities:

• Protocol of intent (Imam Sadiq University);
• Framework agreement on cooperation (Allameh Tabataba’i University).
