RSUH organized international conference “Linguistics of the languages of China, Korea and Japan”

Over fifty experts and young scholars from various countries, including China and Belarus, took part in the event.

The Conference was opened by Dr. Testelets, Director of the Institute of Linguistics of RSUH and Dr. Kogan, Head of the Department of Asian and African Languages at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

At the plenary session, the presentations were made by Dr. Emelchenkova (St. Petersburg State University), Dr. Kostyrkina (RAS), Dr. Starostin (HSE) and Dr. Ivchenko (RSUH), Dr. Guo Rui (Peking University).

The purpose of the Conference is to go further in understanding the Chinese language and culture and their place in the world heritage and legacy.
