A meeting of the steering committee of the All-Russian Student Project Competition “Russian Statehood” was held. RSUH Rector Andrei Loginov gave the opening speech to the participants.
He reminded the audience that, on the instructions of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, RSUH was developing the socio-humanitarian core of higher education. A key part of it will be the course “Fundamentals of Russian Statehood.” This course will help students develop a holistic worldview and civic position.
“Today, more than ever, it is important to cultivate civic identity in students, based on knowledge of the history, politics, and culture of Russia. The competition will help evaluate how effectively universities are addressing this task and how well students are assimilating the new course “Fundamentals of Russian Statehood.” The results will help improve university educational programs if needed,” emphasized Andrei Viktorovich.
During the meeting, areas of responsibility for committee members were approved, including coordination with universities, methodological support, the digital platform, PR campaign, and security.
