RSUH’s educational ties with African nations and the promotion of cultural dialogue.
On April 9, 2025, Vera Zabotkina, Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at RSUH, met with Gorchakov Foundation Scholarship students from Egypt and Sudan to introduce them to the University.
These students, currently undertaking internships in Archaeology at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, are participating in a Gorchakov Foundation program. The initiative includes visits to Russian universities to explore the national education system and research in their fields.
During the meeting, Dr. Zabotkina spoke about RSUH’s history, structure, and international programs, highlighting the mission of the University and especially the International Centers for Egyptology and Sudanese Civilization Studies. She also introduced the International Center for Russian Language Studies, where Russian is taught as a foreign language, and invited the students to pursue their education at RSUH.
