On April 16, representatives of the administration of RSUH and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University met to discuss interaction between universities and plans for the implementation of joint projects.
The meeting started with mutual greetings and the introduction of the RSUH representatives by Rector Bezborodov. The Rector spoke about the great interest of our University in strengthening interaction with the Kazakh National University.
Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Vera Zabotkina told the Kazakh guests about the educational programs being implemented at RSUH, and about the interaction of our University with numerous foreign universities.
On behalf of the Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Kanseituly Tuimebaev, Chairman of the Board and Rector of KazNU, and Almas Auelbekuly Bektanov, Deputy Head of the Administration of KazNU, spoke on proposals on various forms of joint educational and academic activities.
The possibilities of academic exchange, joint academic research, and organization of cultural events were discussed during the meeting.
The negotiations included the development of vectors of cooperation in the field of Turkology and the study of Turkic languages. Representatives of both sides supported this initiative and agreed to return to its discussion in future meetings. In addition, university leaders analyzed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of intercultural communications.
