On September 10, the application campaign for the II All-Russian Pedagogical Readings" was completed.
The project is aimed at identifying and disseminating the best pedagogical practices, modern technologies and methods of civic-patriotic education. Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova said: "The Readings are aimed at civic-patriotic education and the formation of a culture of interethnic communication. Teachers of all educational organizations were able to offer their pedagogical initiatives, taking into account the characteristics of the territories in which they live. After all, only the citizens of the republics, cities and villages themselves can propose truly effective educational programs withthe cultural values and characteristics of their small homeland. This will allow us to take a fresh look at the educational process and reconsider teaching technologies. We are confident that involving young scholars and proactive teachers in such projects will increase interest in participation in academic activities and the prestige of the teaching profession.” During the application campaign, which lasted from May 23 to September 9, teachers from all regions of Russia submitted applications for participation in seven key areas: “Cultural Code of My Country,” “Family: Continuity, Values, and Meanings,” “Studying the World”, "Technologies of the Future", "Healthy Nation", "Me and We – the Position", "Profession - Teacher. Vocation - Mentor".
"Every year we receive more and more applications for participation in the Readings. This time there were more than 2000 of them, and this is 25% more than last year. It is symbolic that in the Year of the Family, the most popular direction was "Family: continuity, values and meanings". I am sure that the proposed pedagogical practices will help prepare a new generation of talented teachers and build an effective dialogue between generations," said First Deputy Director of ANO "Russia - Country of Opportunities"Alexei Agafonov.
The project is carried out with the support of RSUH. The University acts as a platform for organizing the work of the project’s steering committee. Representatives of RSUH will take part in the business program and open dialogue with the participants of the readings.
"The idea of the Readings is to create an opportunity to discuss and analyze the challenges and trends of modern education, to assess the methods and technologies of social and pedagogical activity, best educational practices, and answers to the key questions of the pedagogical community," said Dmitry Bobrov, Vice-Rector for Property Management of RSUH.
Dmitry Turlakov, Head of the Steering Committee of the All-Russian Competition "My Country - My Russia" said: "The Readings have successfully completed accepting applications, which indicates great interest in this project. We are glad to see that the pedagogical community is actively sharing its experience and participating in discussions within the framework of educational meetings with experts even before the actual event." The Readings will be held in November 2024 in Moscow, timed to coincide with National Unity Day.
