The stage of RSUH became a crossroads of cultures, where national traditions were presented in a modern student format.
On December 15, RSUH hosted the international student festival “Music of My Soul,” which brought together students from different countries and cultures on one stage. The event was organized with the participation of the RSUH Department of International Cooperation.
“Friendship between peoples, between cultures and ethnic groups is always the progress of humanity,” noted RSUH First Vice-Rector Dmitry Bobrov in his welcoming speech.
The audience of the concert embarked on a true journey around the world, discovering along the way the musical, dance, and poetic traditions of various countries. The festival program featured performances by students from Taiwan, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Vietnam, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Iran, India, Armenia, Nicaragua, countries of the Middle East, as well as regions of Russia.
“You are ambassadors of your countries at our university, and when you return home, you will become ambassadors of Russia and RSUH in your homeland,” shared Vera Zabotkina, Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at RSUH.
Guests of the festival saw unusual dances and listened to national songs reflecting New Year and festive traditions of different peoples.
