On March 9, a lecture was held on the topic "Terrorism and its prevention among the youth."
Dr. Alexander Kornilov, an expert of the Academic Advisory Council at the Anti-Terrorist Center of the Commonwealth of Independent States, spoke to the students and faculty of RSUH.
During his speech, Dr. Kornilov touched upon a number of important issues related to the legislative interpretation of the concept of "terrorism", its difference from the concept of "extremism", revealed the legal liability for participation in destructive activities, and also highlighted ways to counter possible attempts to involve someone in an illegal terrorist organization. The lecture was held as part of the implementation of a set of measures to prevent destructive behavior and negative manifestations by the youth.
