Tyumen hosted the First All-Russian Cultural Forum of the Small-Numbered Peoples.
As part of the business program at the All-Russian Conference “Preservation and Development of Cultural Traditions of Indigenous Small-Numbered Peoples,” analyst of the project office of RSUH Dr. Svetlana Chernyshova spoke on the successful experience of cooperation between representatives of indigenous peoples and the academic community within the project “Interactive Atlas: Languages and Cultures of Small-Numbered Peoples of the North, Siberia, and the Far East of the Russian Federation.”
The Atlas is a large-scale project coordinated by RSUH and the Association of Small-Numbered Peoples of the North, Siberia, and the Far East. The resource is being created for the preservation, study, and popularization of languages and cultural heritage. The materials of the Interactive Atlas can be found on its official website.
