Foreign intelligence veteran Andrei Bezrukov visited RSUH

On March 13, RSUH students met with retired colonel of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Professor of the Department of Applied Analysis of International Issues at MGIMO, Andrei Bezrukov, who gave a lecture “The Future of Russia and the World”.

Colonel Bezrukov worked as an intelligence officer for twenty-three years together with his wife Elena Vavilova. Under the names Donald Howard Heathfield and Tracy Lee Ann Foley, they lived and worked in France, Canada and the United States.

The veteran shared his vision of the future of Russia and the world, based on his many years of experience in foreign intelligence. He emphasized that the future of our country largely depended on the turbulent geopolitical situation in the world and in order for Russia to develop successfully, it was necessary not only to take into account global trends and challenges, but also to work to maintain economic and social stability in our society, as well as the preserve and protect traditional values.
