On December 21, a round table “Contemporary African art as a reaction to post-colonial history” was held, in which leading specialists from Russian museums with African collections took part.
The welcoming speeches were delivered by Rector Bezborodov, Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Vera Zabotkina. Deputy Director of the National Gallery of the Republic of Zimbabwe Silenkosi Moyo spoke on the topic of development of contemporary art in Zimbabwe. The round table program can be viewed here.
