RSUH: a step into China

Rector Pivovar participated in the opening ceremony for Russian-Chinese Association of Economic Universities

Rector Pivovar participated in the opening ceremony for Russian-Chinese Association of Economic Universities that took place in Beijing on November 23.  The Declaration of Accession was signed by 13 Russian (including RSUH) and 12 Chinese universities.  The decision to create ties between universities of the two countries was taken a year ago at the Session of Russian-Chinese Committee on Cooperation in the Field of Education. RSUH is one of the co-founders of the Association.

Another seminal event was the signing of an agreement between the History Associations of the two countries.

The Round Table, chaired and moderated by Dr. Pivovar, presented three talks: presentation of WWII in school textbooks, and archive documents on Russian-Chinese relations during WWII kept in presidential and FSB archives.
