November 19 marked the 90-year anniversary of the birth of Dr. Knorozov and the 60th anniversary of his method for decoding the Mayan writing. In November Russian-Mexican Center of Mayan Language, created at the initiative of RSUH, held at Xcaret the First Knorozov Mayan Epigraphy Symposium.
