Representatives of RSUH took part in the round table dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of Ukraine

On December 21, RSUH, jointly with the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) held a round table "The Thirty Years of Independence of Ukraine: State of Politics and Economics" under the moderation of Dr. Alexander Gushchin, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Post-Soviet and Interregional Studies, Associate Professor of the Department of the CIS countries.

Welcoming speeches at the event were made by the President of RSUH, RIAC member Dr. Efim Pivovar and RIAC General Director Dr. Andrei Kortunov. Also, the Table was attended by:

1. Dr. Viktor Mironenko, Head of the Center for Ukrainian Studies of the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences 
2. Dr. Anton Naychuk, Director of the Civil Diplomacy Foundation (Kiev) 
3. Dr. Alexander Levchenkov, Associate Professor, Deputy Head of the Department of the CIS Countries of RSUH
4. Dr. Ekaterina Chimiris, Head of the Center for Social and Political Research of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy, Associate Professor of the Financial Unversity under the Government of the Russian Federation 
5. Dr. Yulia Nikitina, Leading Research Fellow at the Center for Post-Soviet Studies, MGIMO, MFA of Russia 
6. Dr. Sergey Markedonov, Leading Research Fellow at the Center for Euro-Atlantic Security at the Institute for International Studies, MGIMO, Editor-in-Chief of the International Analytics magazine 

The experts discussed the foreign and domestic policies of Ukraine over the past 30 years, focusing on the analysis of social reforms, the prospects for the country's further development, as well as the change in foreign policy.
