On November 28, the Open Doors Day was held at RSUH. Heads of institutes, faculties and training centers told applicants about educational programs, academic activities and student life at the University.
Presentations of programs to prepare for the Unified State Exam were made first. Dr. Valentina Dubodelova, Director of the Business School of RSUH, spoke about the six-month intensive courses, which start on December 1.
Dr. Vladimir Shunikov, Director of the Institute of Continuing Education, emphasized the opportunities that participation in the RSUH Olympiad provided for schoolchildren.
Dr. Maxim Balashov, Chair of the Department for Student Affairs, spoke about the extracurricular activities of students of RSUH, the dorm, as well as scholarships and financial assistance.
Dr. Nikolai Lepe, Dean of the Faculty of Management of the Institute of Economics, Management and Law, presented the programs "State and Municipal Management", "Management" and "Personnel Management".
Dr. Filipp Taratorkin, Dean of the Faculty of Archival Science and Records Management, talked about the demand for qualified archivists.
Dr. Galina Velskaya, a senior lecturer at the Department of Integrated Communications and Advertising, spoke about the programs at the Faculty of Advertising and PR.
The representatives of the Faculty of Philosophy spoke about the prospects for employment of its graduates, international conferences, competitions, grants and academic mobility.
Dr. Svetlana Dzhavadova, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Economics, spoke about how future economics experts are trained at RSUH. RSUH’s economics program is ranked among the top 20 best universities in the Russian Federation in terms of salaries upon graduation.
The Faculty of Law of the Institute of Economics, Management and Law is a member of the "Association of Legal Education". The students can also undergo practical training at the Legal Clinic of RSUH.
Dr. Stanislav Timofeev, Dean of the Faculty, said that for the first two years, students would study general disciplines before choosing their specialization.
