On November 18, Dr. Svetlana Tikhankina, faculty member of the Center of the History of the Holocaust and Genocides, took part in the conference "Updating the content of historical education and its reflection in modern teaching aids", organized by the Enlightenment Publishing House.
In her speech, she analyzed the text of the paragraph “The situation on the occupied territories. Life during the war”. It is a textbook on general history for 10th grade, edited by Dr. Medinsky, where she pointed out its inaccuracies and errors. Svetlana Anatolyevna also focused on the relevance of studying the history of the Holocaust in the context of the history of WWII.
