Ms. Maria Gulina, 2nd year graduate student of the Institute of Linguistics of RSUH, has become a member of the Mail.ru Group program "Ambassadors of the VK ecosystem." During this year, she will master various digital, management and communication skills. Also, together with other ambassadors, she will participate in organizing events teaching about the IT field and projects of the VK ecosystem.
“During 2020 I was looking to find an IT internship. I went to websites of IT companies, and eventually checked out the Mail.ru Group. I posted a video application … with a story about how I use the products and services of the VK ecosystem in my life. For the next stage, I made a comic strip on a similar topic, about their use in the life of a RSUH, wrote an essay about a project that I am proud of, and took a weekly challenge that I invented myself. I was chosen to participate in a summer training with experts from Mail.ru Group and listened to 24 lectures, after which I wrote a test and answered the mentors' questions in an interview. This is how I became the ambassador of the VK ecosystem at RSUH,” said Maria.
“The immersion started as early as the selection stage,” said the company representatives. “In two months, the participants met with 22 product managers, creative director, researchers and the top managers of the VK ecosystem services, which is being developed by Mail.ru Group”.
