About 100 participants took part in the Conference, which was dedicated to International Translation Day. About 80 scholars and translators/interpreters presented their papers and shared their experiences and research results on all aspects of theory and methods of translation from Russian into Indian and South Asian languages and vice versa, translation studies and comparative literature. Russian and Indian students presented their reports on the translations of commercials, short films and cartoons from Hindi, Marathi into Russian and vice versa.
