How to access Microsoft Teams

RSUH has the opportunity to provide faculty and students with Office 365, one of the components of which is Microsoft Teams.

What is Microsoft Teams?

Microsoft Teams is a cloud service, which is a part of the educational package for Microsoft Office 365, including email services, OneDrive cloud storage, web versions of office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other services.

MS Teams is a cross-platform space for organizing teamwork and training, which allows you to:

Broadcast audio and video conferences or meetings
create assignments and training materials.
Create teams.
Use chat instead of email.
Safely modify files simultaneously with other users.
Customize by adding notes, websites and applications.
organize joint work of students and teachers (lectures, workshops seminars and consultations);
implement all possible forms of online communications;
load educational content from any sources;
integrate third-party applications and services;
carry out all homework-related activities.

Students who have correct email addresses in their personal accounts will soon receive an invitation to the system with a username and password. If the student has not received the letter, he can provide the information to the IT Office (danil@rggu.ru).

In order to gain access to the platform, the teachers need to provide the following information to the Office:

User Name (your personal mail.
First Name.
Last Name.
Display Name.
Job Title.
Department.

For convenience, we suggest using this file. The first six fields are required.

The completed files must be sent to the IT Office of at tat@rggu.ru or danil@rggu.ru. After downloading the data, each user will receive an email with a username and password.

Users can activate accounts at portal.office.com by entering their username and password. After that, they should change their passwords.
