Over 700 participants of the 17th All-Russian contest “My Country - My Russia” qualified in absentia on April 9, and among them there two students of RSUH. The competition is implemented as part of the federal project "Social Lifts for Everyone" of the national project "Education".
“This is a living mechanism for the development of civil society,” says Ms. Larisa Pastukhova, Head of the Competition, Vice-Rector for Project Activities of RSUH - New nominations appear, namely, “My Far East” and “My Arctic”. Award ceremony for the youngest participants will be held at the Artek International Children's Center in the fall of 2020.
Despite the current situation in the country and the change in the dates of the competition, face-to-face defense by the participants in the older age category will be held as planned. We will announce the dates after stabilization of the epidemiological situation.”
Projects were evaluated by 1154 experts from various regions of the country. They passed training, testing and rigorous qualification, having been chosen from more than two thousand applicants.
Each project was evaluated by at least three experts, which allowed to give all participants an equal chance to win.
In the final stage of the competition, Ms. Ksenia Kupreeenko, RSUH Management junior, will present the Communication Band project in the nomination My Family: Continuity, Values and Meanings; the project describes a creative space in the urban area for families. The project’s aim is to increase the level of communication and interpersonal interaction between family members on the basis of quest games.
Ms. Anna Filippova chose the category My city. The Street Riot project describes a city festival that will combine skateboarding and hip-hop. The open format of the event will allow residents of Moscow to join in the work of the young generation and get to know its history more closely.
The finalists and winners of the contest will receive cash prizes, awards from project partners, a possibility of internships at leading Russian companies and information support.
Since 2019, the finalists of the competition have been participating in the program of post-competition support for winners.
