The event was held on December 11, 2019, organized by the Institute of post-Soviet and inter-Regional Research of RSUH with the support of the foundation “History of Fatherland”. The list of participants included experts from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
President Pivovar, Director of the Institute, mentioned in the welcoming speech the utmost importance of the development of research and education-related cooperation, citing examples of cooperation between RSUH and other institutions.
The topics discussed included liberal arts relations between Russia and the post-Soviet countries, Eurasian politic, economic and social processes of today, and a tendency to the expansion of cooperation.
The participants agreed that the development of integration processes in the field of humanities was a natural and objective process, which corresponded to the interests of a large part of Eurasian states.
