The Readings were held 15-16 May 2019 at RSUH with experts from Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia, the US and the Netherlands participating.
The Readings consisted of six sections: trauma and collective memory, gender constructing of collective memory, memory of the past in comparative context, history/policy/collective memory, collective memory in race and ethnos, poetics and poetology of memory.
The conference also hosted a round table on Herman Melville and WWII.
