RSUH, jointly with the Foundation of Historical Perspective, presented a public lecture by J. Galbraith, “Transformation of economic life since 1967 and pertinence of John Kenneth Galbraith’s legacy in the 21st century”

The lecture was delivered October 10. The lecture was dedicated to the legacy of John Kenneth Galbraith, his views of the theory of economics, which have recently become especially relevant.

John Kenneth Galbraith was one of the most influential American economists of the 20^th century.

The lecture was read by James Galbraith, professor of the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin (Texas), senior scholar at the Levy Economics Institute.

The lecture was followed by a presentation of the book “The Economics of the Future: Risks, Twists and Turns” (TsentrLitNefteGaz Press) written by a group of authors, with Dr. Grinberg, RAS, Dr. Nekipelov, RAS, Dr. Sorokin among them.
