The signing ceremony took place on May 21, 2018. On the same day Dr. Nadir Yousef Babiker, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sudan to the Russian Federation read an open lecture on current state of Russian-Sudanese relations for guests, experts and RSUH students.
The event was organized by the Golenischev International Research Center and Department of History, Political Science and Law of RSUH.
The lecture was also attended by representatives from the Embassy of Sudan, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as from Russian research institutions.
