The event took place 20-24 November at RSUH. Over 200 representatives from different Russian regions participated in 9 UN Committees, in three languages.
The questions discussed included the Falkland Conflict, famine in the Republic of China, post-Chernobyl development of nuclear industry, human rights and Iraq War, post-9/11-medical experiments and ethics thereof, the Indo-Pakistani War, the Vietnam War. The week concluded with the Committees writing resolutions for each of the issues.
The Model was conducted with the support of the faculty of School of International Relations of RSUH and Tavrida Youth Educational Forum.
