RSUH expands its cooperation with India

RSUH delegation visited the Jawaharlal Nehru University on March 24-25 to discuss a framework agreement (Memorandum of Cooperation) in the field of undergraduate, graduate and faculty exchange programs.

Amity University of (Gurgaon) hosted a seminar to mark the 70^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Russia. The event took place April 25. Dr. Stolyarov, Head of the International Center of South Asian Studies, gave a presentation on the history of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Dr. Suryanarayan gave a talk on the perspectives of diplomatic relations between Russia and India. Dr. Schegolev, Deputy Head of the Russian Trade Representative in India, talked about perspectives of trade cooperation.

Dr. Bakshi, editor-in-chief of the magazine of the Indian People’s Party, gave the talk headed “Made in India”.

In the course of the seminar Dr. Sharma, Rector of Amity University, signed the Memorandum of Understanding, also signed by Rector Ivakhnenko. 

RSUH and Amity University signed an Agreement of Cooperation of

TASS, Andrey Pakhomov.

RSUH and Amity University signed the Agreement, which is a new step toward further development of relations between the two universities.

The Agreement presupposes creation of academic exchange programs, research programs, etc.

RSUH already has a number of similar agreements with other Indian universities, including the Jawaharlal Nehru University. 

Dr. Gazieva, Deputy Director of the International Center for the South Asian Studies, said that in India there was a markedly increasing interest to studying Russian and that the new Agreement would certainly help to respond to this interest.
