The Conference “Vassily Kandinsky: a dialogue of art, a dialogue of cultures” was held December 14-16.
The conference was organized by the Department of Art History of RSUH, Department of Philosophy and Department of History of MSU as well as the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.
In the course of three days over fifty presentations were made, by scholars from over a dozen Russian and foreign institutions from the UK, France, the US and Germany.
On December 15 and 19 the Pushkin museum hosted the exhibitions “Georgian avant-garde” and “Kandisky. Bagatelles” that presented, among other things, books on Kandinsky and books of Kandinsky art.
