Mr. Bernard Whitman, a consultant for the Democratic Party, said that the American society was the most polarized in 23 years and that the White House would be taken by Mrs. Clinton, a Democrat, with the Senate held by a Republican majority. 

Tony Sayegh, a Republican consultant, said that the possibility of the Democrats winning for the 3^rd time in a row was very low as it went against the balance of power concept.
