Russian-German graduate school “Cultural transfer and cultural identity: Russian-German contacts in the European context” opened at RSUH
The school is based within the framework of the First Russian-German Collaborative Research Center in Humanities IGK.
The School was opened in festive atmosphere on March 7. Financed by the German Research Foundation (DFG), Albert-Ludvigs University (Freiburg, Germany), and RSUH, the Program is the first Russian-German Graduate School of this kind. The project was initiated jointly by RSUH and Albert-Ludvigs University, in Freiburg, where the opening ceremony took place in December. The estimated duration of the project is 9 years. The program will graduate three generations of young scholars from Russia and Germany. One and a half million Euros have been allotted for the program.
