In the framework of the UK-Russia Year of Culture RSUH held the symposium “Reflection of changing worldview in Russian and English”
The symposium was held June 9-10 having the distinction of being an only educational event in the program.
The symposium was held June 9-10 having the distinction of being an only educational event in the program. The topics discussed were polyculturalism, difficulties of translation, and language learning issues. The keynote speakers were Dr David Crystal, creator of many Cambridge textbooks and Dr. Krongauz, a Russian linguist of wide renown, Chair of the Dept of Russian at RSUH.
