On March 11, a ceremony was held at RSUH to award the title of Dr. HONORIS CAUSA to Dr. Ginon Bojorquez Palma, Director of International Relations of the Jose Marti University of Latin America.
The ceremony was opened by Rector Bezborodov, who mentioned the numerous merits of Dr. Bojorquez and highlighted the current directions of her work.
Dr. Ginon Bojorquez was awarded the diploma and mantle of an Honorary Doctor of RSUH. She was thanked for her enormous contribution to improving academic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the United Mexican States by First Vice-Rector Pavlenko and other representatives of RSUH.
Dr. Ginon Bojorquez said:
“I would like to express my deep gratitude for the fact that such a prestigious, world-famous educational institution as RSUH awarded me with an honorary doctorate. This is a great honor for me. My work and the work of my university aim to unite the academic activities and cultures of two great countries, Russia and Mexico. A striking example of such work is the Knorozov Exhibition Hall at the Latin American University. The implementation of this project would have been impossible without the invaluable support of Professor Galina Ershova, the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Honorary Consulate of the Russian Federation in Mexico”.
The ceremony was also attended by Ms. Ana Isabel Lopez Estrada, Attaché for Cooperation of the Embassy of Mexico, Hector Isidra Arenas Neira, Ambassador of Colombia, Juan Martin Muda, First Secretary of the Embassy of Argentina
