The Faculty of Management of the Institute of Socio-Economic Sciences of the RSUH established in 1992, based on the Faculty of Public Records Management of the Moscow State Historical and Archival Institute.
More than 70 highly qualified teachers successfully work at the faculty, more than 1,000 full-time students, about 300 evening and part-time students and more than 100 students receiving a second higher professional education pass training annually.
The quality of the students' fundamental training and the authority of the RGGU allow graduates to find their place in the labor market. Some of the students are studying in the target areas.

Graduates of the faculty get fundamental training in the fields of humanities, socio-economic, legal and managerial sciences. They know and are able to apply effective methods of managing an organization in practice to ensure its fruitful and profitable activities. They are able to make optimal management decisions depending on specific market conditions, as well as the resources and capabilities at their disposal, including in conditions of uncertainty, as well as to adapt the accumulated domestic and foreign experience in the field of strategic planning, management, personnel management, marketing, advertising, documentation management, new information technologies, project management, etc.
The Faculty carries out educational activities at the bachelor's and master's degrees in all forms of education: full-time, part-time (evening), correspondence and correspondence, using distance technologies.
