The Faculty of International Relations and Foreign Area Studies of the Institute of History and Archives of RSUH was established in December 2015 on the basis of the Department of International Relations and Foreign Area Studies.

The Faculty comprises three departments (Foreign Area Studies and Foreign Policy; American Studies; International Security), as well as the Department of Foreign Languages. The majors include international relations, foreign area studies and history at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The Faculty conducts active research activities related to the organization of national and international academic events, publication of professional research, collective monographs and collections of articles.

The teaching staff consists of highly qualified faculty members, experts both in theoretical knowledge and in practical skills, which allows to provide students with not just the academic, but also with the applied knowledge.

Students of the Faculty have the opportunity to engage in research, apply for internships in ministries and state bodies of the Russian Federation, cultural centers at embassies of foreign countries, international organizations and large commercial companies, expert analytical centers, the media and participate in academic exchange programs with partner educational institutions abroad.

Our graduates are fluent in two foreign languages, have the skills of intercultural communication and analytical work, and are in demand in the labor market.
