On April 22, 2026 JNCC Yoga teacher Mr. Bhup Singh Thakur was conducted the Yoga master class at the RSUH.
The event is as a part of the Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Centre Embassy of India to Russia’s program "Yoga in Moscow Universities" series.
This time, the focus was on pranayama – the science of breathing. Russian students learned how to breathe and to manage their vital energy through deep inhalations, holding them, and active exhalations. These practices help reduce stress, improve concentration, cleanse the body and oxygenate the blood.
In Russia, a healthy lifestyle is a trend that is becoming a value and such yoga master classes help students not only maintain physical fitness but also find inner harmony.
At the end of the meeting JNCC Yoga teacher Mr. Bhup Singh Thakur thanked the RSUH students and teachers for their hospitality and wished them good health and balance. He also invited them to provide the International Day of Yoga, UNESCO, which is celebrated annually on June 21.
