The monthly student research workshop “Legal Legitimacy of the Aadhaar Identification System in India” was organized by Hindi group students

RSUH Hindi group students organized the monthly student research workshop. The event was held on the eve of RSUH student research grant “Social and interethnic conflicts in the era of digitalization, modernization and pandemicization (by the case of the state of Nagaland , India)”

The topic of the workshop was: " Legal Legitimacy of the Aadhaar Identification System in India "

Alena Plotnikova, the 4th year student, presented a report in which the problem of racial oppression in modern India was raised on the example of the northeastern state of Nagaland. The student was able to show the relationship between the legal framework in India and the introduction of the Aadhaar system.

Maria Skorobogatova, the 4th year student, in presentation focused on the advantages and disadvantages of the new Aadhaar system and compared it with previous Indian personal identification programs.

Dr. Indira Gazieva showed an educational film, which aroused interest among students.

Prof. Alexander Stolyarov talked with students about the stages of creating the largest IT project in the world - the Aadhaar biometric database.
