RSUH Hindi group students participated in the International scientific online conference “Fyodor Dostoevsky’s literary works in translations and film adaptations”

RSUH Hindi group students - Ekaterina Moskalenko, Tatyana Parush, Alena Plotnikova, Maria Skorobogatova, Sofia Kiseleva, Arina Novikova, Amina Mukhametkhanova and Alina Fasakhova, participated in the International scientific online conference “Fyodor Dostoevsky’s literary works in translations and film adaptations”. The event was dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Fyodor Dostoevsky, canonical writer of Russian literature.

It was a joint project of several universities:
1) Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH)
2) Russian Center for Science and Culture (Mumbai, Maharashtra, India)
3) Savitribai Phule University (Pune, Maharashtra, India)
4) Center for Indian Studies, Institute of International Relations, Kazan Federal University (KFU), Tatarstan, Russia
5) Institute of Asian and African Studies, Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), Russia
6) Saint Petersburg State University (SPSU), Russia
7) Institute of Oriental Studies - School of Regional and International Studies (SRIS), Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU), Russia

A welcome address was made by Dr. Sergey Fandeev, Director, Russian Center for Science and Culture, Mumbai, India.
The Art-Design Center‘s students’ exhibition dedicated to Fyodor Dostoevsky was presented in the framework of this conference. Dr Tatiana Borisova was an exhibition manager.
