“Recitation of Pushkin’s poems in different languages”

 RSUH students and teachers were co-organizer of “Recitation of Pushkin’s poems in different languages”

18 universities from Russia, India and CIS countries took part in the International Day of Russian language dedicated to Alexander Pushkin’s birthday celebration, Great Russian poet.

69 students recited poems in Russian, Sanskrit, Arabic, Chinese, Belarusian, Ossetian, Tatar, Kyrgyz, Kazakh, German, English, Assamese, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi and Bodo languages.

 

We express our gratitude to the 20 teachers who encouraged the students to recite the verses of the Russian poet and some of them (Dr. Anagha Bhat-Behere (Puna UNI, Maharashtra), Prof. Kandarpa Das (Gauhati UNI, Assam), Mr. Saurabh Naik (Zakir Hussain Delhi College, University of Delhi) make translations of some of the verses for this event.

 

Gautam Kashyap, 1ts year student of St. Petersburg State University read his own translation of 3 parts of the poem “Eugene Onegin” in Hindi.

Dr. Maxim Demchenko, a teacher from Moscow State Linguistic University, read his own translation of Alexander Pushkin’s poem “How sweet! ... but My, God, how is dangerous ...” in Avadhi and English languages.

RSUH 1st year students Sofya Kiseleva recited the Pushkin’ poem "I Loved You" in Russian and translated into Chinese and Alina Fasakhova, recited the poem "Winter Evening" translated into Tatar language.

 

Arina Shikina, 3d year students of the Faculty (School) of World Politics Lomonosov Moscow State University recited the Pushkin’s poem “On the hills of Georgia” in Russian and translated into Hindi;

Alan Dzhigkaev, 3d year student of the Department of World Politics, Lomonosov Moscow State University. Recited Pushkin’s poem "Winter Evening" in Russian and translated into Ossetian language.
