A monthly student cross-disciplinary research workshop was held on October 31, 2019 at Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH), Moscow, Russia.
The topic of the workshop was - “The history of China until the XIX century”.
The goal of a student research workshop is to form their professional and scientific competencies. The lecture was delivered by prof. A.A. Stolyarov. The seminar was attended by students of the 1st year of the Faculty of International Relations and Regional Studies of the Institute of the History and Archives studies:
Daniela Todoroshchan, Ekaterina Moskalenko, Sofia Kiseleva, Maria Skorobogatova, Victor Toropov, Amina Mukhametkhanova, Julia Baryshnikova, Ksenia Panfilova, Nikita Kosmin, Julia Bryukhova, Maria Neumytaya, Alexandra Gorsheva, Serafima Savelyeva, Tatyana Parush, Anastasia Fedoseeva, Dana Ermolaeva.
Prof. Alexander Stolyarov told students about outstanding scholars involved in Chinese history until the 19th century and showed books as well as the book of prof. Oleg Nepomnin, "The Social and Economic History of China 1894-1914" (Moscow, 1980) and the History of China: The Qing Era. XVII - the beginning of the XX century (Moscow, 2005).
