Exams are over, diplomas have been received, school is behind, and ahead lies everything new and most exciting —RSUH held the graduation ceremony of its Pre-University Program.
"You know, in the German language, the words for ‘profession’ and ‘vocation’ share the same root. And that’s no coincidence. It is very important when a profession aligns with the soul, with what is known a ‘calling’, It is truly painful to spend your entire life doing something you do not love. I wish you to make the right choice, so that your profession matches your calling!” said Pavel Shkarenkov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, to the graduates of the RSUH Pre-University Program during the graduation ceremony.
In the main lecture hall, 85 graduates, along with their parents, teachers, and the university administration, gathered to mark this important milestone — the completion of a two-year journey and receiving their first educational document.
“The responsibility lies not only in handing out diplomas, but also in ensuring, with a clear conscience, that we are sending off into the world truly prepared young people who will easily enter the best universities in our country,” shared Dmitry Bobrov, First Vice-Rector of RSUH. He emphasized that the event was significant not only for the graduates, but for RSUH itself, which is once again ready to open its doors — now for the path toward higher education.
“I hope, our dear graduates, that the work and field you choose and pursue will bring you, in addition to material well-being, joy, satisfaction, and a sense of awareness in what you do,” said Irina Vorobyova, Director of the RSUH Pre-University Program. She emphasized that beyond building a career, it was important to surround oneself with loyal and devoted friends, find love, and preserve a warm feeling of gratitude for everything that life brings.
Thus, at RSUH, the final bell has traditionally rung, Unified State Exams have been taken, and diplomas awarded to yesterday’s schoolchildren. Now the baton passes to the admissions committee. RSUH invites the graduates to continue their educational journey together.
