At a BRICS educational seminar, Vera Zabotkina, Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at RSUH, presented initiatives for developing dual-degree programs and implementing digital technologies in the humanities.
“Modern education must meet the requirements of the three I’s: it must be international, interdisciplinary, and intersectoral,” shared Dr. Zabotkina in her April 25 presentation at the BRICS seminar.
Participants discussed in detail the strategy for developing higher education programs in BRICS member states.
Dr. Zabotkina emphasized the need to develop and improve dual-degree programs among BRICS countries. She also proposed launching an international project aimed at enhancing the quality of humanities programs using STEAM methods and digital technologies. Planned initiatives include joint master’s programs in museum studies, digital art, computational linguistics, and other fields. Dr. Zabotkina stressed that the development of new educational formats should go hand in hand with preserving cultural diversity and the ethno-cultural identities of BRICS countries.
